BIID Announces Graduate Week

BIID Graduate Week is back and commences with our webinar ‘Life After Graduation’ on Tuesday 6th July from 6pm to 7:30pm. This informative event will give you an insight into the journey of four interior designers from graduation to their current careers in residential and commercial interiors. They will also be explaining why they chose to join the Professional Body that represents their industry, the BIID. During the Q&A, guests will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panel members to give them an insight into how they can kick start their careers in interior design.

Life After Graduation Tuesday 6th July book now

Students will then get the chance to attend our popular online mentoring session, ‘Portfolio Support: Online Mentoring’, on Thursday 8th July from 6pm to 9pm. The session will be interactive, with a mentor assessing your portfolio and answering questions you have about best practice and what makes a good impression when interviewing. The evening will begin with a 45 minute webinar from Simon Hamilton of Design Career Consulting who will be presenting top tips and industry insight into making your portfolio, and you, stand out from the crowd.
